By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Excellent idea for insurance.

The whole idea of the by miles insurance is a great idea, only paying for the miles you do is something that helps save a lot of money but also tracks how much you do through the month with their app which is also very detailed when it comes to how far you go on individual journeys. A good idea

As someone who needs a car but prefers not to drive I appreciate the opportunity to pay a premium related to my mileage. I find the website and app easy to use, communication is straightforward and friendly and I've saved a lot of money!
