By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

63 years old best insurance I've ever gad

I don't use the car much it costs me on average £2 a month after I paid my yearly premium which was very low can't recommend this insurance company enough for pensioners or people that use they car a lot Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

I don’t drive many miles, so By Miles are easily the most cost effective insurers for me. Thankfully I’ve not had to make any claims, but any interaction I’ve had with them has been really easy and the customer service is great- the app is so easy to use and you’re informed of any policy changes in plenty of time. Excellent idea of just paying for your mileage

Like the idea of just paying for what miles I actually drive, some months are less , monthly fee £17.99 then miles you drive added on top , I’ve only had to pay between £25-£30 at the end of the month as I only drive a small amount of miles a month . Ideal for anyone that drives short journey’s, also if you recommend a friend you get cash credited to your account so , you could have you monthly of nothing to pay for a couple of months . Why is this not an standard norm in the industry?

I drive probably at most 5k miles a year and By Miles have captured the perfect format for a driver like me. Most insurance companies will quote unrealistic and excessive prices, whereas By Miles are purely charging me for the actual mileage I cover.. I think any other way is absolutely absurd now and the rest of the industry needs a massive shake up. By Miles deserves all the awards! Reviewed on: 11th August 2022
