By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Only insurance that reduces rates

Communication from By Miles is great, app is useful, pricing is transparent. They are also the only insurer I've ever used which didn't increase the rate after a year, so I didn't have to do the annual insurance shop around. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

I do very little mileage now but need to have a car, easy to set up online and install tracker. ByMiles emails the bill each month so it is clear what I am paying (which is very little. Verry happy to have found them. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

The only car insurance provider you will ever need. I paid sub ,£400 for the first time in decades for driving similar mileage. Most insurance providers were quoting ridiculous premiums, some £700+. On top of that an app that shows you what you're spending, telematics, where your car is and I can't see myself going back to anyone else. Thanks bymiles for making car insurance fair again. revelation, wages for what it consumes

I am a driver who uses a bike and walks on a daily basis. However, I have to attend work, about 7 miles away from my house. It wouldn't be a problem to go on foot or by bike, but I work 12 hours and I carry a second bag with my laptop with me. It was too burdensome, on the date I chose car transport, which thanks to the ByMiles insurance does not burden my budget. I pay for what I traveled. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

Since working remotely I only do very low mileage so I was over the moon to find ByMiles. What an awesome concept which has saved me 100s of £s. Iove the tracker and app, particularly as I'm a data geek! Whenever I've required support the chat feature is brilliant, I have always received quick and helpful replies.
