By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Best car insurance ever!

By far the best insurers I've been with. The portal is so easy to use, the customer service is spot on, you can chat with a real agent in the portal in a matter of minutes instead of being stuck in a phone que. By Miles saves me money, now, when we are all in need of savings most, by charging for the miles I drive (plus a fixed annual charge). It is approximately £200 in total less than the lowest quote I received at renewal. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

I initially signed up following a family member's recommendation during the pandemic and stayed with them due to the simplicity and cost effeciencies - their renewal quote was cheaper than anything else I was quoted which (as someone who changes utility and insurance providers annually to get the best deals) was a fantastic change. The prices are fair, the app is easy to use and there's never any surprises. An all-round great experience - something that I never thought I would say about any kind of insurance! The best decision in car insurance I've ever made and it's a great concept too! Ever since moving to the city, I barely drive. And if I do, it's maybe no more than two miles for the weekly supermarket shop. Other days, I may venture further. What I love is that I pay for the my car when it's parked and only pay the miles I do! Bringing my cost down by £700 p/a compared to a standard insurance package. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022
