By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I checked this out before taking it on - and I must admit that it's better than it actually looked - as well a saving money overall - it's great to have the notifications for each journey, and then the totals for each month. Especially helpful to be kept aware of mileage in these crazy times of petrol costs! And on top of all that - the app on mobile and/or the web is great - showing each journey made .. it's almost like having a tracker. Best insurance choice I've made. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

I couldn't believe what a great deal I got with By Miles! I admit I was wary when I saw their quote as it seemed to be too good to be true (nearly 50% less than other quotes). The best insurance I've had!

I've just recently renewed my car insurance for another year and the process was so straightforward. I couldn't find a better price anywhere else and I wouldn't want to get my insurance from anywhere else as ByMiles is really suited to me because I don't do many miles.
