By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

By Miles were the cheapest provider for my car insurance. Paying an upfront fee and monthly payments by using my mileage tracker has worked really well for me. The app is extremely easy to use and allows me to track how miles I am doing each day and the cost. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

Great company and easy to use.

This is a great system if you don't drove your car much. I love how easy it is and how you can keep track of your miles in the app. Also great for calculating how much a journey will cost, not just in miles but in fuel cost as well. I had a slight issue when I first joined as my insurance had cancelled but I contacted them and it was sorted straight away. Can't fault it really and I recommend to everyone. Best car insurance I’ve been with. I don’t do many miles and this has been such a good way for saving ££. With renewal they’ve even estimated my spend for the next year and price has came down again.
