By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Does what it says on the tin

Why pay high premium prices when the car is sat on the drive. I’ve worked from home for years and have a car sat on the drive ‘just in case’. ByMiles has enabled me to keep it insured, but just pay extra when I use it. I’ve made no claim, but so far so good, easy to take out the policy, the app is good and I get notified each month on how much I owe. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022
