By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

The benefits we’ve experienced from using ByMiles are huge. It’s a really simple way to manage what is often an expensive and annual cost. We find that our car usage varies from month to month, and the benefit of ByMiles to us means we only pay for car insurance based on how frequently we drive. It’s really cost efficient especially as everything else seems to be more expensive, at least our car insurance now seems much more manageable and fair! Reviewed on: 10th August 2022

By Miles are brilliant. I have been with them nearly 5 years now and have never, ever been with anyone better. I always pay less than anywhere else, I receive fantastic customer service; supportive and informative and with a website that is clear and instantly updated. I love receiving the notifications informing me exactly how many miles I have done and exactly how much I have spent. The concept of only paying for the miles you drive is sparklingly clever.
