By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Great policy, great price, great people. Pay for what you use.

I moved over to ByMiles during the pandemic as my renewal come in at £600 but I was hardly using the car. ByMiles quoted me £200 including breakdown and I only paid for the miles I used. Saved myself hundreds. I've not needed to claim...Touch Wood! But when I have enquired about policy changes, they are quick to respond, always friendly and competent in their advice. This new way of pricing insurance makes such perfect sense and is very fair to all road users. The less you drive the less chance you have to be in an accident - surprised it took a pandemic for someone to think of it! I am insured with By Miles because my payments are spread over 12 months which is convenient for me. After paying a small deposit I pay for the mileage I do at the end of the month. So the less you do the less you p. I would recommend anyone who does low mileage to get a quote. Reviewed on: 9th August 2022
