Good for low mileage

I am in my second year with By Miles. Their renewal quote was competitive based on my projected mileage which is comparatively low as I am retired. Amazed at the redesign of the car insurance business model and the use of the tracker technology for pay by the mile insurance as well as knowing where your car is. No more using a renewal notice as an invitation to look elsewhere for cheaper cover as the premiums and mileage charge are significantly cheaper than the usual renewal quote. Having a basic sum that you pay and then the rest is charged by the mile is a very good way to insure your car especially when you may not be driving much for whatever reason, Covid-19, illness, time away etc., I’m going into my 3rd year and I’m very happy with it. By Miles Helped Me Keep My Costs Low

I had 0 no claims bonus and was driving from home and this was literally the cheapest i could find. My mileage was low so it was good and kept my spend for the year on car insurance around the average cost in the UK. During renewal it was cheaper so i'm hoping this trend keeps going.
