Easy and affordable

OK service but difficult to budget

It's quite a nightmare not knowing what payment is going out every month. But a big cost up front for the year. I wish there were other payment options. They reduce your costs slightly for loyalty and customer service seem good. But I haven't had an accident to know how they deal with that. I've stayed for 2 renews so far - but their cost for my husband is absurd for no known reason so price isn't consistent. But happy overall for now. Reviewed on: 9th August 2022

Very simple, very transparent, very fair in pricing

I like to recommend By Miles as a fantastic and the best insurance provider for cars. I like their system of charging customers by the mile, which is very fair. Perfect for low mileage drivers!

If you do less miles then you don't need to buy a policy that makes you pay for the miles that you don't drive. I have saved money with ByMiles and renewed my policy as it was still cheaper to stay with them. Customer service has been great when I needed to make a windscreen replacement claim. Great value for the infrequent driver

I don't drive too much, and often when I do it's a couple of hundred miles. By Miles is perfectly set up for this - keeping my insurance around half the cost of what it would be otherwise. Moving policies to new cars and addresses has proved extremely straightforward too, all done in the app, or via chat with very responsive customer service. Reviewed on: 9th August 2022

Pay as you use

I have been paying car insurance now for over 50 years and this is what I have been advocating all my life ! If only other services would charge the same ? I would gladly pay an extra 10p on a gallon of fuel if it meant no more road fund licence and if it means dearer items from shops then so be it ! Reviewed on: 9th August 2022
