By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

The best thing about By-Miles is that it is so easily understandable and clear. One payment at the start of the policy and per mile charge thereafter. This is a perfect fit for motoring days now. I work from since COVID - so the number of miles I cover has dropped b a huge amount. Only paying for the miles I cover makes perfect sense. Reviewed on: 9th August 2022

You have the control

I've been with By Miles for two years now, and I'm pleased with it. You pay the insurance of the car, then after you're paying for what you use. Simple. You have a device set up in your glove compartment that counts the miles of your journeys. What I also love is the online app to see how much I've racked up so far. I'm really happy being with By Miles, and I plan to stay with them for a long time. Rates are very decent too. Reviewed on: 9th August 2022

By Miles is super value for me as a low mileage user. It encourages me to walk or cycle when I can - a good thing for my health and the planet! And when I do need to do a long journey (to holidays etc.) the price is capped after a certain cut off. I'm a big fan! Reviewed on: 9th August 2022
