Per-mile insurance is a no brainer

If you are a low milage user, it seems that you'll be subsidising those doing above average mileage. If you don't mind being tracked (to some limited degree) then this policy might be a good chunk cheaper. Reviewed on: 20th August 2022

By Miles totally new experience

Been interested in the almost insurance by the mile scenario and so far so good but with a caveat, you take up the OBDII port in the car and I regularly tinker with coding of the cars systems and if the garage need access via the port you have to remove the adapter. You are then subjected to a barrage of notifications that the adapter has been removed but with By Miles closed at 16:00 you can’t contact them to advise them that you are removing the adapter. Is there no over the air facility to monitor your miles used especially for a modern 2016 plate car. Some thing for newbies to consider. Other than that will review 6 & 12 months down the line.
