By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Best Insurance ever

This is by far the best insurance I have ever had. Pay when you drive, nothing more, nothing less. And the best part is, you won't pay anything if you drive more then 150 miles in a day. Your miles are capped at 150 miles a day. Reviewed on: 21st September 2022

I insured with them for the first time, and it was the cheapest insuracne out there but also the fairest in my opinion. The fact that you pay for the mileage you do makes sense, especially after the past 2 years where i was paying for insurance on the car based on me doing a set amunt of mileage and only doing 1% of it in the year and still paying a big amount. It's about time we got an insurance company that cares about its customers

I've been driving for years now I am 61 years old, and have been driving a very long time, yes as we all do we are looking to spend less and get value for money, dont you agree, what a brilliant idea pay by your mileage it wont suit heavy road users but being disabled it suits me down to the ground I drive electric vehical a renault zoe it has a limited 100 mile range I live in accrington near the centre it costs me about 12 pence in insurance to get there and twenty pence on energy beat that I'm happy as Larry not even road tax this company has got it going on woopee Reviewed on: 21st September 2022

I no longer commute so this works out hundreds of pounts cheaper than anywhere else. Only shame is they don't insure if you're over 80 so my grandad couldn't get a quote! Reviewed on: 21st September 2022

From the very first interaction with By Miles I have been very impressed. Not only are the cost for insurance impressive, but also are their incentives to sign up family and friends. Customer service have been really helpful with my mum who is not the most technology gifted. Iv been with by miles a few years now and if it wasn't for this insurance i wouldn't be able to use my car i pay per mile which has saved us so much money i can treat my grandson you only pay 1 deposit a year a d the rest of the year believe me its cheaper than using electricity right now in fact per mile its so cheap i dont worry i think the most iv paid a month is 10.00 the customer service team are amazing to when myself a d hubby where poorly they noticed i wasn't driving and got in touch i dont know any other insurance companys who does that its fair to say ill always be with by miles as long as they have me give it a go youve nothing to lose trust me they are the best oh ps im fully comp to Reviewed on: 21st September 2022

Firstly the customer service is the best I've ever experienced from an insurance company, always someone there to help with what you need. The app is fantastic and really easy to use, you can use it to see where your car is or see if there's any problems/ scan for fault codes. Plus many other features on the app. If you break down you can go onto the app and quickly and easily get to your breakdown cover. Reviewed on: 21st September 2022
