By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Great for fewer miles

Pay by miles truly saved me whilst on maternity leave, you only pay for the miles you drive, its excellent! For the times I barely drove, I paid minimal. Highly recommend paybymiles to anyone, it's always best to look around for insurers, and sometimes PBM may work out cheaper! Reviewed on: 21st September 2022

The app gives me info on the mileage and costs over the month and also my frequent destinations. I am then able to arrange numerous shops etc in one car trip. Reviewed on: 21st September 2022

Fantastic customer service

I had a brilliant experience with by miles. Unfortunately I was unable to verify my no claims status due to travelling and missed out on my discount, however the customer service team dealt with my concerns professionally and timely after I called them to follow up. They rectified any issues I had and have definitely proven they are a reliable and reputable company. The staff member was both understanding and pro active in finding a resolution.
