Excellent comprehensive caravan insurance ever

Before I had a mover put on I was backing my caravan in between 2 garages and I struck the corner of the caravan and damaged the side and trim .The caravan Club sent a representative out to inspect van and his response was don't worry we will have you up and running in no time which they did and no HASSLE at all . No fuss major repair without hassle

it was just a glancing blow from our security handle in a very crowded HGV parking space at Charnock Richard services station (Caravan parking was filled with cars, as usual, no caravans). However, it caused £6000 worth of damage because it needed a new side panel for the van. The club help-line said "Call green Flag to be sure you are safe" then carry on with your holiday. On return, the assessor turned up with a week, agreed to the repair on the spot, and it was done by the dealer who supplied the van in the first place. Excellent job. Reviewed on: 9th August 2017

First Class Service

I have been insured with the Caravan Club since the 1960s whilst a caravanner. In October 1987 whilst my caravan was on site at Alderstead Heath, the caravan alongside mine blew over in the storm that year and caused damage to both vans, its 'A' frame buried into the side of my van. On contacting the club insurance office I was immediately put at rest and assured that all would be put right. To complicate things, I had, prior to the incident, agreed to part exchange my van for a new one, I explained this to the insurance office and it was agreed that the dealer to whom I had offered the van in part exchange, could take the damaged van and repair it and the insurance would be paid direct to the dealer. This was all done very smoothly and I got my new van. Since then I have always felt that no matter what circumstances may befall my use of my caravan, I could always be able to trust the Club Insurance. Reviewed on: 9th August 2017
