I believe I first heard of Chetwood through Money Supermarket. I was impressed with the info so I applied for an account. I supplied all the requirements & was accepted immediately. I then completed the remaining requirements & I was up & running within a few hours. I recommended Chetwood to my daughter in law & my wife. I'm unsure, at time of writing if my daughter now has an account, but my wife certainly has. My wife asked, via the secure message line, to change her depositing bank details & obviously after security checks, the change was arranged within 48 hours. We are both very impressed with Chetwood. The customer service was actually very good once I got in touch. The issue was with the website and layout of the account. There was no notification that it was my account, it did not have my name on it anywhere, when printed out or downloaded, so I couldn't use it to verify my identity when I needed to or prove it was my account, which I was asked to do. This meant I had to contact you in writing to ask for it to be downloaded my name on. That took time and led to a delay in getting a mortgage. It would've been better if the account has my name on in the statements instead. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2025

Efficient company but rate could be better

Initially an attractive rate but disappointed when the rate was reduced even though the Bank of England's rate had hardly changed. Easy to use web site and account efficiently handled. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2025

Good savings rate but delayed withdrawals

The savings rate is good, but i would prefer instant withdrawal rather than having to wait until the next working day to receive my money; this is especially annoying at the weekend. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2025
