Ease of opening an account

I had some cash in my Bank of Scotland account earning next to nothing. My wife had used Close Bros before so I opened an account. Excellent in all respects. Very easy open an account - you do wonder why other banks are not so quick and simple and I am quite sure all the necessary compliance checks are carried out.
