Great banking solution for freelancers

This is a great banking solution for freelancers, who want to keep their personal and business accounts separate. Having looked at a lot of high street banks, most business accounts came with a fee attached, not only for the account itself but also to the different transactions you might want to make (e.g. BACS or DD payments). As someone just starting out as a full time freelancer, I didn't want to make that type of commitment. The account is very easy to set up and the card arrived in good time. Every time I've had a query I've received quick, helpful and polite responses from the team. The only niggle is that on a couple of occasions I've had to delete and reinstall the app, as the app failed to open. However, reinstalling has always sorted the issue. Overall I'm very satisfied with my experience of Coconut to date. Reviewed on: 27th November 2018

Making life easier for freelancers

I was so excited about the app when I first heard about it as banking was an area that I'd found really frustrating as a sole trader. Coconut didn't disappoint, and I love that you can easily categorise your spending in one place. The team are great - really responsive and communicative - and I'm looking forward to all the new features they'll be launching in the coming months such as invoicing. Reviewed on: 27th November 2018

Great App and excellent service

Coconut is brilliant in that it instantly logs your transactions and you can then take a photo of the receipt and attach it to the transaction straight away. Meaning you don't have to keep all your receipts. It also roughly calculates your tax which is helpful! Their customer service is also brilliant. Thanks Reviewed on: 25th November 2018

Fabulous service for small businesses

App is easy to use making it quick and reliable when paying out. Their support service is second to none, love being able to message the team and get a fast response and also feel like you’re taking to a friend instead of faceless/stuffy bank. I feel Coconut gets it, they are with you and as a start up this is reassuring and therefore I view as an extension of my business. Love their branding and card design! Super easy business banking for the self employed

I was looking for a free business account that I could use for self employed work I do on the side of a regular job and this came up. It was so easy and quick to set up - all in the app - and I was up and running the same day. A massive plus is it’s tax report and that fact it will take into account my regular job as well as the self employed work. None of the accounting software I have used before did that. Getting an estimate of the tax I need to pay before sending off the tax return is a great idea too! So I know what to expect when it comes round. Highly recommend Coconut for business banking!
