Collingwood provide insurance for learner drivers, taxi drivers and couriers.

New driver cover is only available to existing Collingwood learner driver customers after passing the practical driving test. Taxi insurance can be for annual or short-term cover and courier insurance cover is for food and parcel delivery drivers.

Brilliant prices

I had never heard of Collingwood until I got into becoming a driving instructor. At the same time my daughter was leaning to drive and I was buying her a car. The expense of lessons and a car was huge so I was delighted when I found out about Collingwood and could insure her on a provisional licence for less than my own car insurance for up to 12 months. In this age of tighter budgets and cost of living this was a no brainer to help save some money u til she passed her test. Because of this I’m also signed up to them as a trainee instructor and have already recommended Collingwood to all my learners. I don’t know of anyone else with as good prices and I have checked out one of the other ‘large companies’ that insure learners but with restrictions and a black box. Using collingwood has truly been so straightforward, whether thats signing up, getting and downloading insurance certificates, understanding whats covered, its all simply laid out, digestible and completely navigatable. Great insurance company with all of the basics and extras done greatly. Very market competitive annual pricing which i had purchased, comes much cheaper than some other companies. I was honestly happy to speak to one of the staff through the phone regarding a query i had about my policy, and the jovial staff who i had spoken to was such a joy to speak to, and was really happy to help and answered my query, its hard to see that nowadays.
