Collingwood provide insurance for learner drivers, taxi drivers and couriers.

New driver cover is only available to existing Collingwood learner driver customers after passing the practical driving test. Taxi insurance can be for annual or short-term cover and courier insurance cover is for food and parcel delivery drivers.

Great for learner drivers

After buying my car when I turned 17, I didn't know what to to about insurance - a search through the Web brought up Collingwood. It was really easy to get a quote and the lady was really helpful and guided me through the process. I paid a monthly cost by direct debit, and got a reminder before the money was taken, which was handy, and it was something I could afford whilst paying for lessons. Once I passed my test, again the lady was really nice and congratulated me - I was able to cancel my payments and she offered me help to find an insurance company. Reviewed on: 11th October 2022

Do not use unless you want to pay cancellation fees

DO NOT USE the whole point of a learner policy is when they pass their test you cancel policy but with this company they charge you, we were charged £40 cancellation and £31.97 for remainder of policy for 12 months that we aren’t even using so in total paid an extra £71.97 to cancel. Other company’s don’t charge so use them and avoid these unless you mind paying extra. Also you don’t earn ncd unless it’s been over 10 months where as my other daughter had hers rounded up to 12 months ncd a lot earlier so read the small print because this company is a con Reviewed on: 10th October 2022
