New driver cover is only available to existing Collingwood learner driver customers after passing the practical driving test. Taxi insurance can be for annual or short-term cover and courier insurance cover is for food and parcel delivery drivers.

Brilliant first insurance company

Collingwood supported me whilst I was learning to drive, the customer service was brilliant and could always help you the best they could with my query. When passing my test I spoke to a lovely man who congratulated me and made sure I All my questions were answered. Would recommend collingwood to anyone who is just starting to drive! Genuine customer service from start to finish

Credit where credit is due, Collingwood insurance in my opinion provide the best cover for learner drivers. Arranging car insurance can be a complicated experience, try including a 17 year old provisional licence holder and the process gets really complicated. This is where Collingwood really raise the bar, from the moment I called them I was amazed at the seamless process. My call was answered quickly, my questions were answered accurately by advisors who were clearly knowledgeable and passionate about customer service. I arranged insurance for my son to enable him to learn to drive, the price I paid was far less than other companies in fact roughly a 75% saving against some companies and with better policy features, one of which was flexible payment options with a partial refund once the policy holder passes their driving test. Again when calling to end the policy the professionalism continued with the advisor (Graham) offering congratulations to my son on passing his test. Its genuine customer service from start to finish which is not always apparent in the insurance industry. Needless to say they come highly recommended from myself and my son.
