When you need a loan for emergency and you contribute into your account,I have been denied multiple times and it's always the same credit check answer. Being the Co-op for the people,it is very selective and truly not helpful. Reviewed on: 11th April 2026

My experience was not a good one.

My experience was not a good one. Advertised loans but rejected, without a suitable solution. A credit check and automatically rejected which does not really help someone in need. I could have managed repayments but first experience was not too good therefore I may not recommend to anyone. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2026

bank does not offer loans always 3rd party

Bank does not seem to offer direct loans. All through third parties. Presumably the bank gets commission. Interest rates more like credit companies than your bank. Seem only interested in profit these days. Help line hours cut, branches cut, all round services and rewards cut. Back to being a piggy bank. How sad. They were an excellent bank once.
