Seems to be closing many branches

Have had a account with Britannia for years but since the Co_op took over all the local branches are closing and it's getting more difficult to visit a branch. Not just in the area I live - other towns I have visited I have noticed have lost their branches. Very tempted to move my money elsewhere. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

A long process!

I am a student, and I had got given a Britannia Savings Account Book when I was 16 years old, 4 years ago. When Britannia merged with Co-Op it was still simple enough to get money out of my Savings Account, until recently they have been trying to phase out the Britannia Saving Account books, as they are outdated. It was not a simple switch unfortunately, I had to have a meeting regarding changing to a card, but it was unclear what was the most similar to the one I currently had. I chose the Smart Saver card, which has been ok so far. However, my pin was lost in the post and it took over a month to be sent another one- BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Reviewed on: 3rd November 2015

Very easy to set up. Helps my chosen charity, and also gain an ATM card.

I decided on this savings account, as I wanted one that would help charity as well as helping me save money.I was really pleased with the ease in opening my account, also to recieve and ATM card which means I can access my money if I need too Reviewed on: 7th May 2015
