Currys Yourplan

I shop at Currys frequently for Domestic Appliances, computers, phones etc and they offer buy now pay later via their Yourplan account where Creation Finance are the Lender. They have easy application and great mobile app. Reviewed on: 31st May 2023

JOKE OF A COMPANY AVOID!!!!

Creation finance are an Absolute joke of a company have no customer service what so ever and shut down my account with currys for no reason what so ever!! I will be using AO from now on and john Lewis they value their customers so much more!! AVOID EVERYONE!! Reviewed on: 5th April 2023

The best loan provider

I have used Creation a couple of times, short decision making time, quick credit check while you wait. No hidden charges or interest rate, they update your records accordingly. Considerably fair interest rate. They are just the best. Reviewed on: 5th April 2023

Multitude of immense failings. Please, for your own sanity, mental health and financial health, stay away!

Multitude of immense failings. Please, for your own sanity, mental health and financial health, stay away! They have made it impossible for me to get credit by incorrectly destroying my credit rating. Creation incorrectly added missed payments to my Credit Report, they can show no proof that they are correcting it, they won't take responsibility for the mistakes either. Don't let them do the same to you. There are multiple other modern and efficient companies out there with the same "Buy Now, Pay Later" promise that actually work. Here are some(not all) of my issues to date: 1. Creation are not set up to take Direct Debits from bank accounts outside of Ireland/UK. As Ireland is in the EU, and EU does not restrict bank accounts by country, many Irish people do not have domestic current account as the fees are horrendous. This is part of the SEPA laws that went into effect in 2014. Creation's systems have not been updated since then to allow for this. 2. If you send a Standing Order to their Irish Bank account, the reference number is removed in a daily internal batching operation from Creation's Irish Bank to their UK bank. This leads to all payments made by Standing Order to the Irish Bank Account being lost! 3. There are no contact numbers for Ireland on their websites. This is to force Irish customers to ring UK numbers and due to the cost, they hope it will reduce calls from Ireland. Here is an Irish number. +35348 9026 7691. 4. Although Creation can't set up a Direct Debit due to ancient systems, and they lose all Standing Orders due to batching operations, they have the audacity to add missed payment notes to my Credit Report when each payment was made in full and 14 days in advance. This is ongoing for 9 months... 5. Customer Care team are used as shields for all the rest of the teams. All they can do is apologise, the Accounts, Admin, Complaints and Credit Reference Department do no work and cannot be directly contacted and will not make direct contact with a customer either. I would rather stick a hot poker in my eye than ever have to deal with such a diabolically inept company ever again. Reviewed on: 6th January 2023
