Total waste of time and money

Total waste of time to even get to the point of being able to file a claim for a bike which got stolen, only to be told months after the event that my bike was considered to be "abandoned" because it was at parked at the station for over 10 hours. I mean, using your bike to get to the railway station, get the train to get to work and come back 10 hours later is not my idea of abandonment but what do I know - I am not in the insurance business for a reason.
