Debenhams credit card points are a total waste of time. It is practically impossible to use them. Ive used their customer service and all I get is reasons they can’t be used which applies to absolutely everything on their site. Time to switch I think! Reviewed on: 17th November 2024

Debenhams credit card rewards con.

I have had a Debenhams Credit card for years and built up over £30.00 on their rewards, I have tried to spend a rewards voucher only to be told I can only purchase from a small number of companies on the Debenhams.Com shopping site. I am a male and only have BoohooMAN or Burtons offering male clothing. I can also only purchase full price items. There is nothing in my size (34 waist) on either site at full price. New day credit card company scammers

I settle the full statement amount monthly. Once i paid part payment they charge me interest to the full statement amount. I paid 141£ for a balance 500£. I don’t know why financial ombudsman don’t take impose penalty. Reviewed on: 30th August 2024

Scam Help Joke

Can’t believe that they can make a customer wait 30 days to pursue a refund of scammed money. Most credit card companies refund fraudulent transactions immediately. Disgraceful Debenhams. Reviewed on: 28th January 2023

Absolutely ridiculous waiting times. Why did i apply for a Debenhams credit card. Every reputable company have a good number of staff to deal with customers but these people are a complete joke. There are many other good credit card companies so stay clear of Debenhams credit card! Reviewed on: 15th November 2022

Good for 0/0 credit transfers

Easy to do money or credit transfers - remember to pay them back in the required time. Reviewed on: 29th June 2020

Not the best card for me

Firstly the APR is high. I know it's variable but there are better deals. I've never had the perks that are supposed to come with the card when shopping at Debenhams like free delivery for instance. I've also been charged a cash withdrawal fee and I've never withdrawn cash from it. The statements are always not what I was expecting, much higher. Probably because of the interest. I can't wait to clear the balance or do a transfer to a 0% card. Contact is ok most of the time but a few times I've emailed and had a letter as a reply or had no reply at all.
