Stress free passive investing

I was to recommend by a friend to Freetrade about a year ago , I was with IG index at the time. I was given my free share which was great I bought some shares but then cashed them in because I did not understand what passive in vesting was ! One year later after spending over £250.00 at least in trading fees with another trading platform and receiving poor quality service. For years I've pondered, researched on how to invest without the middle-man, without the extra charges, and without having to be a millionaire first to afford the service and in stepped Freetrade.
