With a Glasgow Credit Union loan, you can borrow up to £25,000. Once you’re a member, you can apply for a loan in app, online or by phone. You’ll need to save at least £10 per month into your Member Savings during the term.

Great service

Needed a consolidation loan, was phoned within days of the application to sort a few details and money was paid hours after. Payments are made at a timeframe that suits and are deducted from my wages so I don’t notice. Reviewed on: 9th June 2026

I was advised to join Glasgow credit union by my daughter, also a member, and I’m so glad I have. I also got my partner to join which he has done. This gives me a great incentive to save and borrow without the worry of paying back more than any other lenders would charge. The customer service is excellent, and when I had to contact them for advice, the phone was answered immediately and my query was answered instantly, after the security questions obviously I would highly recommend joining, there’s nothing to lose and more to gain.
