With a Glasgow Credit Union loan, you can borrow up to £25,000. Once you’re a member, you can apply for a loan in app, online or by phone. You’ll need to save at least £10 per month into your Member Savings during the term.

GCU is really good

I joined GCU over 20 years ago, suggested by a work colleague. Over the years I have been supported with loans and supported to save. The credit union staff have always given good advice, processed changes quickly and now the app is doing the same - but you can always get a person to talk to as well. Better than banks

Since joining the credit union I have found them to be much better than most high street banks. I have gained loans, that banks would never have approved due to the fact I am on disability benefits. The credit union sees the person, not their employment. I was given the opportunity to prove I could pay back a loan by proving my monthly income.
