Ethical Savings and Loans - People First

I've been a member of Glasgow Credit Union for 17 years. I was attracted to the organisation because of the ethical nature of their savings and loans. The organisation encourages you to continue to save even when you're paying off a loan. They will also only let you borrow within your means. With so many people getting into debt these days Glasgow Credit Union is an example of how a financial service should run and take care of its customers. Reviewed on: 9th August 2021

Quick & Easy. Affordable to my own account

Very easy to open & set up a direct debit. I love that Glasgow Credit Union allows me to choose how much I want to put away each month and if I have a little extra it is very simple to call up the union and place money in. Their communication is up with the best and I have not had 1 issue with them. Reviewed on: 9th August 2021

Saving for a holiday

Credit union is the ideal way to squirrel money away straight from my wage to save for my next holiday. Because its in a separate account from my bank account, it isn't tempting to just "borrow" to get a cheeky take away or for a night out. It's easily accessible when I really need it though!
