Saving with a social conscience

Having an easy to set up and use saving account is very important to myself and many others. Glasgow Credit Union has a charity donations program providing much needed funds to third sector organisations who help the most vulnerable in our communities as a bonus they also have a lottery !! Best thing I ever done is join

Great account to stash away!

I've always felt confident by having a credit union account with regularly monthly savings, and with having regular monthly savings, if times ever get tough, I'll be seen as a more reliable borrower if I need to apply for a credit union personal loan. The interest rate is pretty good, and if you're not in a hurry with any withdrawals you can do them via the great new wee app for free as a Bacs transfer, only takes a few days. I'm very happy with credit union, and want to soon increase my savings by getting them directly taken out of my wages. I would definitely recommend credit union. I have been a member for over twenty years and no matter what life threw at me I have always been able to rely on Glasgow Credit Union to be there for me and my family.
