GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

Fantastic Idea

GoHenry have enabled my 10 year old son to feel like he is as grown up as his big brother by giving him a card to purchase things with in shops and even allowing him to personalise it. Deeply practical and teaches essential life skills

The GoHenry card has brought the best out in my 12yr old I feel like it is giving her lessons about money that I myself did not benefit from as a child. On top of the obvious practicalities and flexibilities of the GoHenry card such as not having to keep coins available for her school travel, there are some deeper lessons about money that my daughter has really caught onto with it and actually surprised me with and made me proud of her. She is loving the gradual increase of balance she gets by not going wild with the little income she gets and she now seems to fully understand how saving and being moderate opens up her options in her life and makes her independent, even if it’s as simple as having the luxury of being able to buy something small like a chocolate whenever she likes. It’s a really good idea to allow tasks on the app to boost these savings because it strengthens the link between work and income and gives great incentive to do good work. For me as a parent I have full control over the whole thing so feels like zero risk as well. Thanks it’s been very beneficial Reviewed on: 18th January 2020

Great idea for kids

Great idea for kids to let them see how much money they are earning through tasks and achievements. Also letting them see what they are spending their money on and if they have something they would like to save for they can see how well they are doing by downloading the app and being able to see it all for themselves.
