GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

Great to get kids started

This card has been so easy to get my daughter used to buying things herself.. it’s so easy to add money to & you get notifications on when & where the money is being spent.. Can also add tasks to be completed in return for pocket money. Reviewed on: 11th November 2019

Don't attempt parenting without goHenry

I can't sing the praises of goHenry enough. My older two children were given cards s soon as this app launched. `it helped me no end, I could let my daughter go to the shops with her friends on a Saturday and not be worried she would drain her account. My son would use his to save up then ask for the limit to be temporarily raised so h could purchase a game for his PS4 then be lowered again and the online option disabled so he wasn't tempted by in-app purchases. When they were in college they seasoned debit cardholders and responsible enough to step up to full bank accounts. I am also a foster mother and goHenry is invaluable for my fostered boys where access to money is a novelty and with no observation of prudent spending during primary socialisation and formative years they spend everything immediately. n the fostering community goHenry is brilliant as it teaches independence but keeps parental control over their spending until good habits are learned. TOP JOB! An extremely steep learning curve… Day one and our 12 year old spent 95% of his weekly allowance in the sweet shop straight after school. Week 4 and he has 2 savings accounts, has finally understood percentages (HIP HIP HOORAY!!) and is well on the way to reaching the end of the week with money left over. An invaluable and fun tool which empowers and encourages whilst creating a platform for family discussion and sharing. Telling everybody. Reviewed on: 11th November 2019

An excellent way to learn about money!

My almost 12 year old has had a Go Henry account for about two years. I love it because he takes responsibility for his own money. He can save for different things, and he even gives some of his pocket money to charity via the app. I can't recommend it highly enough! Reviewed on: 11th November 2019

Invaluable Banking Product for Parents

I have an autistic daughter Darcy who struggles with understanding money and possibly always will. The simplicity of relating money to tasks to savings and at the same time giving her autonomy with her very own VISA card (particularly the kudos with peers now she's 17) is exceptional. Great for kids of all ages

My kids are 9 and 15 , they know what chores they have to do and how much theyll get, the oldest can use her card everywhere. Easy to replace and cancel lost cards (which we've had to do 3 times now!) Easy to use, easy to top up, easy to transfer, easy to share to other people to gift to child account.
