About this product

GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

Not bad but not good either

I think the card and app are okay but think it’s horrendous to have a monthly charge and a charge every time I’m topping up. Seems a bit of a con. Won’t be using it after lockdown Reviewed on: 6th February 2021

Promoting independent spending for children!

Brilliant bank for children, my son loves the fact he can independently purchase off line and in the shops. It has helped him learn so much about money and how far it can go but also how quickly it can be spent. I like the lay out of the app as it provides me with information on my child’s spending, so I can sit down and discuss which purchases he made and why he should consider his spending better. It’s a wonderful way for children to learn more about money and support independence. Reviewed on: 6th February 2021

Easy peasy

Fantastic product!

I love the apps/alerts & the card. They are brilliantly designed and look great. And the parent app and child app have all the functions you’d want. My daughter loves using her card online & in shops. I can reward her for chores and see where she’s spending her money and how much. And the Giftlinks are great for Xmas & birthdays. I wish I had signed up ages ago!

This is a brilliant idea, my daughters have the freedom to buy the things they want, while learning the value of budgeting for their luxury items. It hasn’t taken long for them to realise that blowing their allowances in one go leaves them broke for the rest of the week! I can set tasks for them to complete that I then check off on completion to top up their earnings, which gives them a sense of pride, it’s all good! & they can’t go overdrawn which is great too! Kids love it

The children live the independence and makes things easier if they forget cash or need more than they thought i can just transfer it over. Charges however are a little high and egged the children are old enough they will get a bank a cc with a card instead with no charges and cards replacement is free. Reviewed on: 6th February 2021

Excellent first bank for children

Yes other banks are available but GoHenry gives me the chance to add task to earn pocket money, alerts me to spending and where and blocks transaction to protect naive minds. It’s just easy and straightforward Reviewed on: 6th February 2021
