About this product

GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

Fantastic bank, App and customer service

It’s so great that children can have the opportunity to learn about finances from a young age encouraging them to earn their spending money by completing set tasks, set saving goals and even choose to donate to charity. This helps children up for adult life which is not thought in schools. Also love the feature of gift links for friends and family and the chance to give thanks for these gifts too! The App is very user friendly and the customer service is second to none every-time I have needed assistance. I only wish I had a bank account with some of these features like the savings goal/ being able to section income off for bills etc. Have recommended several times to friends and family and they live it too! Learn about money and earn it.

Started out using this for my eldest son (now 13) a couple of years ago because he had an impromptu school trip (they’d won a competition) and of course the trip fell on payday which meant I couldn’t send him with very much actual cash - enter GoHenry which meant as soon as my pay came in I could transfer him enough money quickly. I also got to see where he was spending. We then started using it as a way for him to earn money for chores which works well. We’ve now introduced my youngest son to it and he loves it, he likes earning his pocket money and especially likes how he can use the app to set himself savings goals and watch the app as he achieves his aim to get what he really wants. It’s then also nice that sometimes they decide to ‘treat’ us and the odd chocolate bar will appear, so it’s meant that they’re learning to save, spend and give! Reviewed on: 6th February 2021
