Credit Unions really do make a difference.

I opened an account with the Credit Union when I was volunteering for them in their Stroud office and have continued to have one. The branch became part of the Great Western Credit Union and I regularly receive updates from them on the work they do. I recommend opening a Credit Union account to anyone struggling or anyone wanting to help to keep them going. Reviewed on: 22nd April 2026

GWCU team are friendly and immensely helpful

Great to know my money is staying local and helping to support good causes. GWCU staff are always so helpful and friendly. I use the salary saver scheme and it's the perfect way to save! Reviewed on: 21st April 2026

Thank You GWCU

We have done small regular savings with GWCU for many years and also have borrowed small amounts for home projects. Each time we deal with them, the staff are polite, patient and very helpful and the process of borrowing/saving is easy to understand but staff are available for any questions.
