Very quick response, helpful and clear advice

Great service - Especially with the live chat feature!

For me, and I'm sure many others, I didn't have the time to arrange a phone conversation and sort out my mortgage deal. With this in mind, Habito stood out from its competitors as it offers a live chat feature which meant I was able to get the help and advice I needed around my work and personal commitments. Furthermore, I had small conversations way out of typical working hours, such as at 9 pm. This flexibility really helped as sometimes things would pop in my head and being able to write them in the conversation meant I did not forget, and they were picked up on when the advisor was available. Regarding the deal itself, I am a numbers person so I did create my own spreadsheet one evening on all the rates offered by the banks along with their respective fees. This gained my confidence as I got the same figures which were recommended to me. Habito also provides a breakdown showing all the costs associated with a deal, along with how much of the mortgage will be paid off by the end of the fixed term. This makes sure similar deals can be differentiated. I also was shown lender-only deals which were nice to see as it gave me a great feeling of impartiality, I was dubious I might get recommendations that 'had the highest commission' but this clearly wasn't the case. All in all, the dealing was straightforward and I highly recommend it as from using Habito I incurred no additional cost but definitely made a much more informed decision to take out my mortgage, and the live chat feature really is a differentiating factor. Best at peace of mind

As first time buyers we were all over the place trying to sort everything out but the guys at Habito have done an incredible job all the way - especially when it came to reassuring us at tough times. Excellent before completion, mediocre after

Service before completion is stellar, both the mortgage brokering and the conveyancing services (Habito plus). However after completion things change drastically. From web-based interaction now we're back to call centres and staff that sound genuinely annoyed that you called. Reviewed on: 4th April 2022
