As a result of them asking much more detailed questions on pre-existing medical conditions than many of their competitors in this field, they are able to offer much more competitive and personally targeted rates. Read the fine print before buying insurance from them

We were one of many families affected by the service interruptions at London Stansted Airport on the 11th of May, 2025. We ended up missing out on our flight to Albania and the entire holiday because of the IT issues at the airport. While other insurance providers were happy to provide a cover for the loss(I know because I had friends travelling with me who missed their holiday due to the same reason and their insurance provider reimbursed them) due to the unexpected circumstances, HolidaySafe chose to shun us away saying that this does not fall under a mechanical breakdown at the airport's/airline's or public transport end. Safe to say I am never buying travel insurance from them again. Reviewed on: 11th September 2025

Holidaysafe saved me in Copenhagen

Holidaysafe saved me on a holiday in Copenhagen when my train broke down and I missed my flight as a result. I was able to claim back for the extra accommodation and flight fairly quickly and easily and have trusted them ever since. Their quotes are always reasonable and my medical conditions are covered which gives me peace of mind when travelling anywhere in the world. Sometimes filling out the paperwork takes a while but it's best to be thorough so they have all the information to provide a fully comprehensive quote at a competitive price Reviewed on: 11th September 2025
