You can only really judge a travel insurance compan...

You can only really judge a travel insurance company when you have a problem. Firstly I had to have surgery two months before a big trip, Holidaysafe said to contact them 4 weeks before travel and confirm I had the medical ok to travel . No increase in premium. Then following year I had to see a medic while away and made a claim for about £300 . Holidaysafe paid up promptly. Only reason for missing a star is that premiums have gone up a lot this year but then we are 76 and 73 this year , other come it’s want double the price so happy to stick . Insurance without the faff!

Their website is easy to navigate and completing the online form for insurance cover is not overly complicated. When I needed clarification on a medical condition their customer service representative was extremely thorough and helpful in ensuring I had the correct cover. Reviewed on: 10th July 2025
