I contacted the emergency protect line at 18:20 as the entire 120 litres of water in my hot water cylinder was streaming through the ceiling.... I contacted the emergency protect line at 18:20 as the entire 120 litres of water in my hot water cylinder was streaming through the ceiling. An appointment was made with an ‘emergency’ plumber for between 13 hours and 18 hours later. This company had no regard for the structural damage that would be caused by the water flooding through for this length of time or the safety risk posed by the water getting into the electrics. I therefore had to get, and pay for, my own plumber to come out and drain the tank. Disgraceful. Read more Read less
