Cancellation 'Administration' charges horrendous!

We cancelled the renewed policy just out of the cooling off period as we sold the house We paid just over £20 p/m (1 payment... We cancelled the renewed policy just out of the cooling off period as we sold the house We paid just over £20 p/m (1 payment made) on an empty house awaiting sale process.. We have now been told that we are being charged £90 in cancellation 'fees' for administration cost! 4 1/2 months premium to put a tick in the box!!! What a ridiculous charge! One, maybe two months for an early cancellation - not 4 1/2!!! Insurance was handy, but getting out of it very costly - will not be coming back. Read more Read less

Not convinced that the person fully understood what I had said. transcripts are available.
