Never got IPO share

This is one of the worst investment tools/ media I've ever used. Applied times of IPO from it, but never ever got it. i will highly recommend you switch to another tools. Reviewed on: 22nd March 2021

Reasonable fees, poor user interface

HSBCs investment platform is very basic, limited functionality and portfolio view options, although it is easy to use. Also, they do not charge holding fees like other providers such as HL, although they do charge a quarterly admin fee. Also, the lack of a mobile app to manage investment seems a bit behind the times, pretty disappointing considering the size and scale of HSBCs operation. Reviewed on: 4th July 2017

Easy way to have a investment Account

HSBC is my first bank with an investment account, so i decided to try a self account investment to give it a try but i had not experience at all, i had too many question about it and i cant really remember how much call i did but i was a lot, every call they treated me the most kindly and compresive way and explain everything i asked for. HSBC is not perfect but their costumer support services are superb. So after all these years i will recommend it to anyone who wants to try a great Invesment Product. Reviewed on: 7th September 2016

Happy to Help me with my Help to Buy ISA

Made an appointment at the HSBC in North Finchley to set up my Help to Buy ISA. Received confirmation in writing and by text. Warmly welcomed to the branch, with free wifi, a drink and a laugh. The product was calmly and professionally explained to me, the lady had a very soothing voice, made me feel very at ease. She verified all my information, successfully opened the account and set up a monthly standing order, and arranged to follow up and check that everything was ok, which she did. The system is used widely by HSBC's high-end corporate and institutional clients served variously by the bank's global banking and markets, commercial banking and global transaction banking divisions. I have an account with HSBC, and it is the best bank i have been with! very good customer service and the people are lovely.

Easy self-service

I have a self-investor account with hsbc which allows me to make a few stock picks which is easy enough. Hsbc have also been good when rights issues etc are announced. Reviewed on: 22nd September 2015
