Easy pocket money card great app

Great for kids gaining independence

Both my children and I have had positive experiences of using HyperJar cards. My children have small amounts on their card which enables them to learn how to purchase items in shops (sweets!) and how much things cost. Reviewed on: 28th March 2022

So simple a child could use it

I got this for my daughter (then 6) because I wanted to teach her about digital money alongside learning about coins, so that budgeting no matter the form is second nature. HyperJar were one of the few offering this service for her age. It was so simple to set up and within 2 uses she knew how to use the app. She was so excited to have her own card!! Which then sends a text to remind her (and me) how much she has spent. It lets her see where her money has gone too and she even got a certificate at school for explaining it so well (digital money) to her classmates. Running it has been so simple and any set of instructions are simple and in plain English which is so refreshing. I've recommended HyperJar to all my friends Reviewed on: 28th March 2022

The best thing I've done in Years

I pride myself on how much I talk to my children about money, its value and how to earn it and save for future treats. I have looked at similar cards but my kids said they would rather have the monthly subscription as spends so we chose Hyperjar, the whole experience for my kids has been incredible. They now check in with me on a regular basis to look how much they've saved and know by doing chores or being extra brilliant in spellings at school that they earn rewards. The card is so easy to set up and use both children feel so grown up with their own card. My son (10) even bought his mum a cup of tea on mother's day using is tap to pay function, he was buzzing. If you've got kids and want to let them feel in control of their own money, and at the same time be able to monitor spend for FREE, this is the only card you need. Reviewed on: 28th March 2022

Brilliant app and functionality

Really like HyperJar, easy to use and the ability to top up the kids pots for good work done really makes them see the benefit of good work. The fact there is no monthly fee is superb as we have 3 kids so would be very expensive if we used other providers with fees. I recommend HyperJar 10 out of 10 Reviewed on: 28th March 2022

Free and easy to use

Love hyperjar. It offers an easy way for children to get used to spending and saving and managing their own money in a digital world. Great app to teach kids

Really great app to seperate money into where you need it, and teach kids how to spend responsibly with a card. With cards the main way of spending it's easier for my daughter to spend her pocket money amd understand how to manage her money and spending electronically.
