Great for teaching kids to manage money

I use hyperjar 'jars' for both my children (age 14 and 12). They love having the independence of their own debit cards, and being able to see their pocket money building up really encourages them to save. Absolutely great for kids

First account

Chose HyperJar over Go Henry due to no monthly fee and better parental controls. Very easy to move money between accounts and monitor spending. Very pleased with communication from HyperJar and not bombarded with advertising. Reviewed on: 23rd February 2022

Easy to set up, great app

Was looking for a user friendly bank account with contactless payment debit cards for my 12 year and 7 year sons as they only ever receive and spend cash, I really want them to get used to managing their money in the modern world and after doing A-LOT of reading up and searching HyperJar ticked all the boxes, love the control as a parent I have around spending notifications and that they can’t withdraw their money as cash and spend in unknown locations. Ordering debit cards was also very easy and arrived quickly, also will be useful for my oldest son when he turns 13 to be able to add Apple Pay. I do feel we have a responsibility to get our kids used to spending cashless in order to prepare them to be responsible with their finances once they have the independence of adulthood Reviewed on: 23rd February 2022

Great for my kids

HyperJar has been great with helping my kids save and spend their own cash. It is so easy to use and my kids feel really grown up with a bank card. Child jar

This is a brilliant way to teach young children banking and how to use their card as most banks have an age limit and they don’t get a card , they feel very grown up using their own personal bank card to pay for items that the parent can still monitor Reviewed on: 23rd February 2022

Fantastic, Safe, Usable, Trakable

We all want to give your children some financial freedom, however, as parents we want to retain a degree of control. Hyperjar allows you to do both. Being able to switch easily between jars on the account, track the spending of your Child, and , if they are out of reach give them access to emergent funds is a god send.
