Easy service with good investment

I moved our ISA along with our kids JISAs to Nutmeg. The bank is was transferring from we’re terrible but Nutmeg we’re a great help over their chat and even by telephone. The app is easy to use and I can’t wait for their to be LISAs available on their to start them on the app. Reviewed on: 29th January 2022

A good platform for first time investors

Like a lot of people during the pandemic, I resolved to better manage my money at the beginning of 2021. Nutmeg seemed to have the best reviews at the time and so I set up an account for my first stocks and shares ISA. I also set up a LISA and moved my savings accounts to two other separate providers at the same time, and Nutmeg by far was the most efficient and assuring of the three. I transferred part of an old ISA over from Barclays with no hassle, and the support that I got through the chat function was excellent and I never felt like I was being talked down to, even when I asked some questions that, in hindsight, were quite naive. I prefer to use the dashboard on a laptop (as opposed to downloading another app to my phone), and it is easy to navigate and clear in presenting the journey my investments are taking. I also very much like the regular updates as to what has been happening to global markets - especially when a month has been particularly volatile - and the transparency with which I can see exactly where my money has been invested in the investor reports. My experiences with Nutmeg in the past year have made me much more confident as an investor and I have gladly recommended the platform to friends who are also looking to whip their money into shape.
