Pay money to lose money!

Pay money to lose money! The rate of return has been lacklustre... the markets have been rough, sure, but my TWRR is still in the negative. Nutmeg won't get a positive review from me until they either give me a positive TWRR or they refund me the fees during months they lost me money. Doubt either will happen any time soon! A good platform for a first time investor

I invested a large proportion of my savings with Nutmeg just before the pandemic, and had a bit of a shock when I saw everything dive. It was but my first time investing, but I had the common sense to know that things had to get better again, so stuck with it. I’ve found Nutmeg customer service to be very good, answering my questions in a reasonable amount of time. In terms of returns, it’s not been an amazing experience but equally I haven’t lost out (I’m slowly now pulling my money out). But overall a good experience - they help you see exactly where your money is being invested, so everything for you, and guide you as you make investment choices based on risk appetite.
