Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

An excellent, professional and friendly engagement.

Yesterday, I booked travel insurance with Just Travel Cover for a 3 month trip to Australia and New Zealand. They provided excellent advice on health and Covid cover which were my main concerns. Reviewed on: 10th August 2022

As easy as picking up a phone.

I had looked on line and got a few excellent quotes but had a couple questions. I picked up the phone and almost immediately spoke to a young lady who answered all of my questions in a very efficient manner. I asked if I could complete the transaction over the phone and the answer was YES. Totally reassured I went ahead and within minutes the process was complete. Excellent service and peace of mind. Good value cover for price

Shopping about for travel insurance, found the prices i was getting quoted had doubled almost from previous. Obtained a quote online from Just Travel Cover and the price was effectively far less for the cover received. Hopefully the customer service if i need them when time comes is good to match the competitive price. Reviewed on: 10th August 2022

Best value I found

I have never had to make a claim thankfully but I have had some very reasonable travel cover considering pre existing health issues. Very simple to arrange and very helpful staff. No hidden costs everything detailed and straightforward. Reviewed on: 10th August 2022

Straightforward travel insurance
