Fantastic cover and service at a great price

Purchased a policy for a trip to spain last month and the rate was the cheapest I could find to cover my medical condition. The terms of the policy were explained to me and I had a range of policies available. I received an email with the documents and I also paid to have them in the post. Five stars for non pushy sales people who guided my wife through the hard medical rubbish, five stars for the price much cheaper than EVERYONE else, five stars for the levels of cover on such a cheap policy, three stars for the claims people I think they are called mayday but nothing to do with just cover it is a separate company but they were ok. Got a great deal (and no hassle)

I had trouble getting insurance for the USA for my hubby who has multiple heart conditions and other medical conditions. I tried a lot of companies and they wouldn't even give me a quote. Just TravelCover were brilliant. The lady asked me all the relevant questions and also listened to what I had to say then she gave me a quote. I asked about a quote without baggage cover and she gave me that too. I asked her to email me the quotes and she did and included quotes with several different levels of cover. I chose the one most suitable for my husband. She rang me back the following day (as we had agreed) and I went ahead and bought the policy. She emailed it to me straight away and also sent me a hard copy by post (great idea to save you printing it all out). Well pleased and I would recommend to anyone. It's very stressful trying to get cover for someone with pre-existing medical conditions but JustTravelCover made it as stress free as possible. Thank you. Reviewed on: 3rd July 2017

Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

cheap quotes, but they would not pay out for cancelled internal flights which had to be re scheduled and re paid for. The policy (Gold) was worthless. Reviewed on: 20th January 2017
