Review of the Just Travel Cover, Travel insurance:

Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Great customer service

I had trouble even getting a quote for my hubby who has heart problems. The lady at Just Travel Cover went through everything with me and asked appropriate questions. A pensioner with medical complaints.

Have always been the most efficient and helpful during my holiday travel ,by air,road and train. Over the last few years Very friendly staff, having not needed to make any claims, I felt confident that I would be treated in the same manner. Unwell at present but hopefully will do so again,and will use Travel Cover, which is the travel company I have recommended to my family and friends. Reviewed on: 19th July 2017

First class

I had pre-existing medical cover with another company ( following cancer treatments) when it came to renew, they declined as I had visited a hospital more the 5 times in a year. I was on a monthly check up at the time. Just travel took the time to fully understand where I was in my recovery process and gave me cover at a price lower than I had been prepared to pay to the other company. Since the I have renewed twice and passed on details to friends and family who have also used Just Travel. First class service / well done. Reviewed on: 19th July 2017
