Review of the Just Travel Cover, Travel insurance:

Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Comprehensive no fuss cover from company with friendly knowledgeable staff

Simple insurance

The only one I use

I have used Just Travel Cover for many years. The service is exceptional as are the staff who I have dealt with. I only use this company for my travel insurance as I have never found a better one. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The website is easy to use and once I used it, it was able to use the information for future requests so time was saved. Travel Insurance with Health Issues

I struggled to find Travel Insurance due to several health issues. Just Travel provided me with an annual policy for Europe with competitive rate taking into account my health issues. Staff were helpful and answered my questions to ensure I had appropriate cover. Without h them I would not be enjoying holidays abroad. Reviewed on: 3rd October 2023
