Best current account interest rate

I was looking for a bank which paid a decent interest rate on the actual current account instead of a linked savings account. Kroo provided that and also paid that rate on a decent balance. It is also very quick to revise rates once the bank of England rate is changed. On top of this the mobile app is very slick and easy to use giving a fantastic user experience. Finally passing on the interest

This remains the current account with the highest interest rate by a country mile, which is how it should be. This isn't necessarily a praise for Kroo itself, but an indictment of other providers. Reviewed on: 30th March 2023

Perfect alternative banking

Refreshing to be able to move away from high street banks that don’t increase interest on savings accounts to match the base rate. I can now have an account that can not only pay bills but earn a high interest rate compared to other savings accounts. Highly recommend and appreciate an alternative way to bank!
